TC Rogers currently serves as Academic Director of Online Programs for the College of Online Education. In this role, TC oversees program outcomes, development, and assessment for all online programs and oversees online programs within the College of Engineering & Design. Additionally, TC continues to teach and develop courses for the College of Arts & Sciences, including education, communication, literature, management, and writing.
Prior to working for Johnson & Wales, TC was Chair and Associate Professor of the Department of Academic Development at the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology. In this role, TC focused on student motivation, retention, and faculty mentorship.
TC has presented nationally to higher education faculty, staff, and administration on how to design, implement, and sustain the use of innovative, real-world education that motivates students to learn. Amongst other organizations, TC has worked with the Foundation for California Community Colleges, New England Board of Higher Education, and South Carolina Advanced Technology Education Center. TC’s research on innovative learning practices was funded by the National Science Foundation.
TC also currently serves as the Board President of Options, a public news source for the Southern New England LGBTQ+ community, in existence since 1982.
