JWU's Community College of the Air Force General Education Mobile (GEM) Partnership
Johnson & Wales University is proud to be a partner school of the Community College of the Air Force’s (CCAF) General Education Mobile (GEM) program. Through the GEM program, Airmen have access to general education courses through our innovative virtual classrooms. Courses are at the freshman/sophomore level, and they allow you to fulfill the 15 semester hours of general education requirements for the CCAF Associate in Applied Science (AAS). Get the foundational knowledge you need in these general education disciplines: oral communication, written communication, mathematics, social science, and humanities.
Learn online from anywhere, on your own time through JWU's proven online education program. Our faculty of industry professionals brings real-world experience to the classroom, and we work with you one-on-one to make sure you’re getting the most of your education.

Johnson & Wales University Online offers the following Tuition Benefits to active service members:
Active-Duty Military – Undergraduate*
Per 4.5 quarter credit course | $750 |
*Tuition rates for Active-Duty Military applicable only to active-duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces (Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, National Guard, National Guard Reserve) enrolled in the university’s fully online degree programs.

Textbooks
We provide required textbooks (digital, e-book or hard copy) at no cost to military service members; however in the case where both digital and hard copy textbooks are available, only digital textbooks will be provided at no cost. Students may opt to purchase the hard copy textbook at their own expense.
GEM COURSES
