For Sara Patterson ‘16, ’19 MBA, every day is game day. When she is not working in digital media at the National Football League headquarters in New York City, the Johnson & Wales University alumnus is pursuing her MBA through the JWU College of Online Education.
Johnson & Wales University and Compass Group North America have a long history of collaboration in preparing future leaders for excellence in their careers. A new chapter of this relationship began here at Johnson & Wales University in the Fall 2015 term as six Compass Group executives enrolled in the Master of Business Administration degree program offered by the College of Online Education.
When Julian Bovasso '13, '15 MBA was considering graduate programs nearly two years ago, Johnson & Wales University — his alma mater — was at the top of the list. He had an amazing experience as an undergrad at the North Miami Campus and knew that the university could help him take his career to the next level.
Deciding on a graduate program is an exciting experience. I can still recall my first time flipping through a Best Graduate Schools publication, fashioning myself in a history doctoral program (ha!) or in astrophysics certificate program (ha! ha!). Although the process of actually deciding on a field and on a specific program was lengthy, I’m glad that I took the time to decide what I actually wanted to “do.”
