Johnson & Wales University is proud to launch its Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Health Professions program, beginning in Fall 2027. This Ed.D. program features a unique hybrid blend of synchronous and asynchronous online courses, in addition to an in-person component held during the summer semester on JWU’s Providence, Rhode Island campus.
For those currently in health-related fields seeking to pursue leadership positions in the healthcare industry or looking to obtain health-related teaching positions in higher education, this doctoral program is tailored for you. JWU’s Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Health Professions program is designed to help develop qualified health leaders and educators to prepare the next generation of healthcare workers. Our Ed.D. program will allow you to develop critical skills in seven major areas in the healthcare industry: leadership, collaboration, communication, research, critical thinking, problem solving and social responsibility.
