Johnson & Wales University awards academic scholarships to online students at the graduate level who demonstrated high levels of academic achievement during their undergraduate studies. Applicants who gain admission to eligible programs will automatically be considered for a 20% tuition scholarship.

Students enrolling at Johnson & Wales College of Professional Studies through their employer’s partnership with Guild Education will not be eligible for the scholarship.

For consideration, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a new student enrolling in an online graduate program (doctoral programs are excluded).
  • Be accepted and enrolled in an online graduate program. Students that are conditionally admitted will be eligible following completion of their first two courses with a grade average of B or higher.
  • Be registered/enrolled for an academic course load of at least 2 courses per semester.

Upon acceptance to the eligible program, applicants will receive a letter indicating the applicable tuition scholarship. If a student is offered other scholarships or grant from the university, the scholarship of the highest value will be applied to their program.
