Now that you’re officially a JWU Online student, it’s time to make sure you are 100-percent prepared for your first class. Your dedicated admissions associate will work with you to complete each step.
Complete Your Intent to Enroll Form
The Intent To Enroll Form indicates to the university that you intend to enroll and initiates the registration and financial aid processes.
Set Up Your Wildcat Email Account
After your Intent To Enroll form is received, you will receive detailed instructions on account set up from your admissions associate to your personal email on file. Please note that it may take up to 72 hours to receive the instructions on setting up your account. We suggest you complete this step as soon as you receive the email, as future steps depend on Wildcat email/jwuLink access.
You can also visit the New User page on jwuLink for directions on how to set up your Wildcat email account. You will need your JNumber, which will be emailed to you by your online admissions associate. For the temporary password, use the format Jwu!MMDDYYYY, where MMDDYYYY is your birthday.
Set Up Your Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR)
To set up your Self-Service Password Reset, follow the SSPR registration instructions found on jwuLink. You will need your JNumber and the password that you used when setting up your Wildcat email account. Please note that IT recommends that you choose the “phone” option in the “security info” step.
Log Into jwuLink
Log in to jwuLink using your JNumber and your new password that you set up for your Wildcat email. Going forward, you can use your Wildcat email address to log in.
Register for Classes
Your admissions associate, Kyleen Nixon, will contact you about registration after you confirm your intent to enroll. After your first semester, your dedicated academic advisor Jessica Rounds will be your main point of contact for registration. Please note that registration dates vary by term. For program-specific curriculum information, please visit the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) section of the online course catalog.
Select Payment Option

A payment plan must be in place prior to the term payment deadline. Payment options include:

All accepted DBA students are enrolled in a mandatory online orientation course. All students are enrolled in the course three weeks prior to the start of classes. The orientation is asynchronous and should take place over two weeks. The orientation goes over navigating the online classroom, as well as important skills for all online students. To complete the orientation, follow these steps:
- Log into ulearn: Access to the orientation is in ulearn. You should access the orientation on a laptop/desktop and not on a phone.
- Complete all modules: Please note that orientation should not take more than 3 hours total and does not need to be completed in one sitting,
- Optional Meet and Greet: We offer a Meet and Greet with DBA faculty and peers in the DBA cohort. This is scheduled by DBA faculty and lasts for about an hour.
