Earning a degree online is more than just receiving a piece of paper in a couple years - it's to grow you professionally and set you up for success!

There are so many reasons to choose an online degree program! Here are our top five:

1.     Online programs were designed with busy people in mind.

Online degree programs offer a flexible and convenient way for anyone—a parent, busy professional, or career-changer—to achieve success. At JWU Online, our students can access their courses on their time, from virtually anywhere, even Antarctica!

2.     There are a variety of programs to choose from.

One of the best things about online learning is that there is a wide variety of different degree programs available. Because you’re not tied to one specific university based on your location, the sky is really the limit for what you can study. At JWU Online, we have more than 50 fully online undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs.

3.     Online courses force you to be organized.

When you sign up for an online course, you are responsible for your own success. Unlike in a traditional classroom setting, you’re in charge of your own schedule and have to make the time to get all of your assignments done because there are no specific meeting times set. While you still have a very involved professor and classmates to fall back on, you are forced to plan out your tasks to make sure everything is done on time. One of the amazing things about JWU Online is that each online student gets a dedicated academic advisor. If you feel yourself falling off track, reach out to them for help!

4.     Easier access to classes can improve workforce development.

Online degree programs are great for companies that are looking to educate their employees. With a flexible format, online programs are often the ones companies and professionals choose because they offer a reasonable schedule conducive to work-life balance.

5.     Online learning could cost less than traditional college courses.

When you’re learning online, you’re most likely not commuting to school or paying to use campus facilities—so most of the time, online classes end up saving you money. This is another great selling point to an already-impressive method of getting your degree!
