Johnson & Wales’ College of Online Education is proud to welcome our new dean, David Cartwright!

Although Dean Dave isn’t new to the College of Online Education, he is excited to be stepping into this role and said he is looking forward to helping our online students succeed, wherever they may be on their journey toward their degree.

Before becoming dean, Dave started at JWU as an adjunct faculty member in Providence and used his background as a CPA in the classroom teaching finance. In 2014, he joined the College of Online Education as director of online academics. In that role and as dean, he works to ensure the quality and rigor of the college’s academic offerings and the excellence of the online student experience.
