What do you like most about teaching online? 

I think the biggest joy that I get is being able to meet and work with students from all over the United States — or the world for that matter. Whether the student is a JWU alum or from another school, I find that the students in the online FSM program are there to learn, contribute, and be an active part of their education.

What strategies do you use to keep students engaged?

One of the strategies I like to incorporate is to allow the student to bring in and share their own experiences, both past and current. These experiences are valuable and add to the richness of the class.
